Conversions by John Swann

Picture from New Wave Mail Order coverage of the 2000 Baltimore Grand Tournament.

"I did this conversion with the torch and book from the Mordheim Warrior Priest fig."

"I spent all WE working. Drilling, priming, cutting, painting, etc... By  Sunday night, I'd finished up 5 Seraphim!  One thing that I did do that I'd heartily suggest, is glue a  1.25" fender washer onto the flying base. It's the same size, adds only about 3/8" to the height of the figs, and allows the Seraphim to stand on about a 30 degree slope without tipping over.  Definitely worth it in my book! Plus they cost about 10 cents each at a hardware store."
