My sequel to Seraphim, titled simplely Banner. This will be a one time posting in the group....

The idea for the title came to me as I was finishing it up. The last few
Sisters of a squad, on the run and outnumbered (off camera) The honored
Banner Bearer plants the Standard into the ground. "We fall back no
further!" The turn about and face whatever fate the Emperor has waiting for
them beyond their physical lives. This idea is also a parrallel to an old
French Foreign Legion tale and remembered on Camaron Day.

The banner motif is of my own Sisters army, the Order of the Amber Cross- I
thought a French cross would balance well with the fleur'd'le on all Sisters
right shoulder and weapons.

Hope everyone enjoys the drawing.
